ISKCON

ISKCON (the International Society for Krishna CONsciousness), colloquially known as the Hare Krishnas, engaged Dickson Architecture to help bring to fruition the design and construction of their new central commercial kitchen facility in Danks Street Albert Park.  The new kitchen project is a major undertaking for the Society, and will improve ISKCON's capacity to provide food to their shopfront restaurants in addition to their iconic outreach services.
Construction on the facility will begin in the first half of 2016, to be operational in early 2017.  It is expected that future improvements to the Danks Street Temple facility will involve to relocation of the existing Dining Hall to ground level, with accessible ramps providing much improved access for elderly and disabled visitors.
Dickson Architecture looks forward to an ongoing relationship with ISKCON, and hopes to continue assistance in their numerous ethical and social endeavours.
